August 7, Beijing – Xi'an  
Morning transfer to airport for 2 hours flight to Xi’an, met by local guide and transfer to Xi’an Aurum International Hotel (4* or similar), local lunch at Sunshine Beauty City Restaurant.
 
Afternoon visit the Xian Jiaotong University (arranged by conference organizing committee).

August 8, Xi'an
Morning visit the Terra Cotta Warriors. This mighty army of terracotta warriors and horses, found accidentally by a number of peasants in three vaults 39km east of Xi'an and 1.5 km from the Qin emperor's mausoleum, is perhaps the most popular tourist attraction of Shaanxi. An in-site museum has been built over these pits, covering a floor space of 20,000 square meters and displaying 8,000 life-size terracotta warriors, 100 or so chariots, and 30,000 weapons-an assemblage billed as the Eighth World Wonder and a world cultural heritage site.
 
Lunch at Yuelai Xi’an Restaurant, afternoon visit TCM Herb Market (Traditional Chinese Medicine), and Grand Wild Goose Pagoda, The Grand Wild Goose Pagoda is a well-preserved ancient pagoda and a holy place for Buddhists. It houses the Buddhist materials that were brought from India by the hierarch Xuanzang.
 
Dinner is on delegate’s own expense or optional Tang Dynasty Dinner Show.
 
August 9, Xi'an – Hangzhou
Morning transfer to airport for 2 hours flight to Hangzhou, met by local guide and transfer to Hangzhou Lakeview Hotel (4* or similar), local lunch at Hangzhou Lily Hotel.
 
Afternoon visit the Zhejiang University for exchange (arranged by conference organizing committee).
 
Dinner at Wushan Minglou Restaurant.
 
August 10, Hangzhou – Wuzhen – Shanghai
Morning visit the West Lake, which has been immortalized by countless poets and artists. The city was the capital of the Southern Song Dynasty from 1127 until the Mongol invasion of 1276, during which time the city’s population is estimated to have been as much as one million, making it the largest city in the world. Even Marco Polo claimed to have passed through, calling it ‘beyond dispute the finest and the noblest in the world’. Also visit Meijiawu Tea Plantation to learn how Chinese people produce the finest green tea in the world and you can also enjoy the best green tea  in the world – the Dragon Well Tea.
 
After lunch at Zuibailo Restaurant drive 1.5 hour to visit the famous water town Wuzhen. Wuzhen is one of the four top famous water town in south China, well known for it fertilized land, and silk production. On both sides of a slab stone-paved street stand all housed in wooden structures of brown. Some are pubs, restaurants, and pawnshops, weaving and dyeing establishments, rice brewery and other businesses. Its rivers and creeks spanned with stone bridges in various designs flow through the town.
 
Drive to Shanghai and check in Shanghai Bund Hotel (4* or similar). Dinner is on delegate’s own.
 
August 11, Shanghai
Visit to Yuyuan Garden and Old Town in the morning. With a total area of less than 5 acres, it has more than 40 attractions in the inner and outer gardens, both built in the Ming Dynasty classical style. Built in traditional Chinese style with numerous rock and tree garden areas, ponds, dragon-lined walls and numerous doorways and zigzagging bridges separating the various garden areas and pavilions.
 
Local lunch at Chao Shan City Restaurant, afternoon visit Shanghai Jiaotong University (arranged by conference organizing committee).
 
Dinner is on own or optional dinner at Daijiacun Restaurant, and enjoys the Acrobatic Show.
 
August 12, Shanghai
Morning visit the Bund, stretching about a mile along the Huangpu River, once known as the Wall Street of Asia, China's most famous waterfront is lined with 1930's-era buildings. Afterwards, visit Pudong area and go to Shanghai World Financial Center for a bird's eye view of the entire city.
 
Lunch at Shanghai Seagull Restaurant, afternoon visit Shanghai Expo, Expo 2010 Shanghai China will be a great event to explore the full potential of urban life in the 21st century and a significant period in urban evolution. Fifty-five percent of the world population is expected to live in cities by the year 2010. The prospect of future urban life, a subject of global interest, concerns all nations, developed or less developed, and their people. Being the first World Exposition on the theme of city, Exposition 2010 will attract governments and people from across the world, focusing on the theme "Better City, Better Life." For its 184 days, participants will display urban civilization to the full extent, exchange their experiences of urban development, disseminate advanced notions on cities and explore new approaches to human habitat, lifestyle and working conditions in the new century. They will learn how to create an eco-friendly society and maintain the sustainable development of human beings.

August 13, Departure from Shanghai
After breakfast, transfer to Longyang Station to take the Maglev Train, with fastest speed of 430km/hour, to Pudong International Airport for your flight home.
